Take it slow it’ll work itself out fine.
All we need is just a little patience

… Patience. Guns n’ Roses…

The number one compliment I get time and time again from clients is how patience I am, with both their newborn babies and their older children.

I want to reassure you:

Whether you’re a first-time parent or a family of more than one, the last thing you need is to worry about your photo shoot going wrong because your children don’t play ball.  I’m a mum of 2 girls myself and I know what it’s like and that’s why at every session we work at the pace of your children.

Whether that be your newborn who wees on me as I’m settling them:

Or your 2-year-old who’s loving running free. Nothing phases me, I don’t want you to worry because I will at all times have everything under control.

Our session together is your time to let someone else be in control of your children.

At newborn shoots, older children can go and play in the garden and you can sit down, relax and just watch me create magic.

For shoots with older kids,

I have so many tricks up my sleeve to keep them entertained, most the time they won’t even know they’re having their photographs taken.

I love photographing children from one onwards outdoors because we can let them be kids and run around burn off some energy at the same time creating beautiful portraits that will melt your heart when you see them.

When I look at photos of my children I feel an immediate burst of Admiration and love.

Admiration because a child’s ability to love, trust, feel and learn is something that most adults can learn from.

And Love because they are amazing little people, whom since their arrival has made me a better person.

A person that feels overwhelmed with warmth, contentment and sheer joy as their little faces light up every room.

To be able to have captured those memories, our life story is one of life’s wonderful pleasures.

As a child grows they need to feel safe, secure and loved and these images for them to look back on in the future will remind them just how special they are and how they made our family feel complete.

My love for babies first came 6 years ago when I helped deliver my god daughter, during her home birth.

It was such an amazing experience and for a time I really thought about becoming a midwife, health visitor or breastfeeding counsellor, then I fell in love with newborn photography.

I get to help new parents with my experience. I’ve been told that I pretty darn good baby shusher and quite a natural with newborns.

Another fun fact about me

I love to pretend to dance at a local jazzercise class 3 times a week. It’s great fun, puts a smile on my face and an amazing way to relax and have a bit of me time xx
