The Milestone session is a perfect way to document that next chapter of your baby’s first year and where you first see their little personalities starting to shine through and I know how to capture it in style. Sarah’s Sitter sessions are multi award winning, just as her Newborn ones are, so if you missed the Newborn stage here is your chance to make those special memories.

SESSION FEE
To secure your Milestone session I charge a non refundable session fee of £99. This covers the session itself, all the props and styling, the relevant and necessary insurances and the viewing appointment.
The session fee does not include any images or products. These can be chosen and purchased after your session once all the images are professionally edited. Each Milestone session has a minimum spend of £349, but you may spend this on which ever products you want to display your images on. The minimum spend is payable straight after your session to allow for the professional editing of your images to commence.

FIRST STEPS
A great time to book your Milestone session is at your Newborn session. Booking in advance is the best way to guarantee your shoot at the appropriate age. Some babies only allow a short window of time to capture this unique and special time. As they start to become stronger, they start to move very quickly and progress on to those gorgeous little bum shuffles, crawls or some even go straight to their feet and start to walk.
If you have not had a Newborn session with me it is still possible to book a Milestone session, dependant on availability.
Planning the shoot
The styling on the session will be agreed prior to your baby’s session. I always listen to your wishes and plans accordingly. The best Milestone shoots are where your baby is the centre of attention, so it is best to keep the styling simple. I have outfits and props at the studio, so there is no need to bring along anything, it will all be taken care of for you.
The Photoshoot
Just like a Newborn session, the Milestone session is baby led. Therefore, it is best to work around their nap and feed times to ensure that they are on top form. I will work with you to agree the best time for you and your baby. I only book in one client per day, so there will be plenty of time to capture those impressive shots that you have dreamt of.

The editing process
After your session you will be required to pay a minimum spend, this is so that the editing process can commence. A minimum of 20 images from your gallery are selected and professionally edited. This is where your images really come to life. The editing process can take up to 6 weeks during busy periods.
The ordering session
After you images have been edited you will be invited back into the studio to view your gallery. It is at this point that you will choose your bespoke package. The minimum spend payment will be deducted from your chosen package.
All packages can be completely bespoke and you will get to purchase the products that you love, from wall art to albums to prints etc, there is so much to choose from and I will be there every step of the way to help.
How will my session be styled
The session is always styled to your wishes. Your preferences will be discussed before your shoot and I will add a little bit of magic to create the most beautiful set of images. I will agree everything from colour schemes to props. Everything is taken care of before the session so that on the day you just have to sit back and relax and watch it all come together as you had dreamed it would.
How should I prepare my child for the session
Children are always most happy when they have a full belly, so its advisable to feed your baby just before your session. If this is not practical, then you are welcome to feed your baby when you get to the studio.
Milestone photography is best practiced when your baby is most happy, I am happy to work my sessions around your babies routine.
What do I need for the session
You don’t need to bring anything at all! However it is advisable to bring any drinks, snacks, interactive toys or favourite items you may want to include in your photographs.
How long does a session take?
As the sessions are child led this can vary. Typically a sitter session will take 1 – 2 hours.
Can I include all my children?
No, but I do offer family sessions if you have multiple siblings or want some photos of parents too. Please contact me for details.
I would like to book a shoot, but money is tight. Am I able to pay in instalments?
